For 25 years, we have championed the independent appliance and kitchen retail sector. We understand the pressures our Members face, from increasing consolidation and squeezed margins, to shifting consumer behaviour and the growing need for digital capability. That is why Sirius goes beyond a traditional buying group model, delivering strategic support, innovative solutions, and powerful supplier partnerships that drive measurable growth.
This includes securing exclusive products and promotions with Approved Suppliers to help Members protect margin and stand out locally, investing in digital tools such as our Product Information Management (PIM) system so Members can streamline their route to market online and improve customer experience, and forming strategic partnerships, including our collaboration with BIRA.
We continue to expand our support for Members through strategic collaborations. Our new partnership with BIRA (British Independent Retailers Association) ensures every new and existing qualifying Member is now automatically enrolled, giving them access to an expanded range of benefits previously out of reach for many small businesses. This includes:

• A comprehensive training and e-learning platform
• Rental and finance solutions
• HR and employment support
• Plus, many more Member services designed to reduce operating cost, mitigate risk, and enhance capability.
As customer expectations evolve, we equip our Members with the tools needed to stay ahead. Our industry-leading Product Information Management (PIM) system enables retailers to streamline operations, significantly improve product data accuracy, and maintain consistency across all sales touchpoints. This technology unlocks operational efficiency and enhances the end-customer experience, supporting higher conversion and improved sales performance.
This is underpinned by our commitment to increasing Member visibility and reach through the Sirius website, which acts as a national platform showcasing Member businesses while actively promoting their local presence. By combining enriched product content with targeted, focused campaigns, we help ensure our Members remain front of mind for consumers and drive that increased demand directly into their showrooms.
A core part of our service is bringing the independent retail community together through a comprehensive programme of events and hands-on, face-to-face support. Our annual Trade Show and Conference provide Members with direct access to Approved Suppliers, exclusive product previews, commercial insights and strategic updates, all within an environment designed to encourage collaboration and meaningful conversation. This is complemented by regular visits from our dedicated Membership Development team, alongside Member meetings and Supplier-hosted events at Approved Supplier premises. Together, these touchpoints give Members the opportunity to experience products first-hand, strengthen relationships, share best practice and gain valuable training and insight. This combined approach plays a vital role in supporting informed buying decisions, fostering long-term partnerships and reinforcing the strength and unity of the independent retail sector.
